Dr David Garwood is a Medical Doctor and Clinical Research Scientist. He studied medicine at the Kharkov State Medical Institute – USSR between 1981 and 1987. He returned home in 1988 and sat the local State Board Exam. He has been exposed to Herbology and Chiropractic in his training as an adjunct to patient management. He is a PhD candidate in Biochemistry and Biotechnology at the University of the West Indies. His areas of research include: oxidative stress and antioxidant in Cancers and Diabetes.
Dr Garwood has for the past 12 years studied Phyto Medicine and their clinical usage. He is Board Certified in Naturopathy and Lectures both locally and internationally. For the past five years he has been studying anti-ageing and aesthetics medicine, extensively. As part of his career development, he attended a number of courses in Alternative Medicine in Atlanta, Orlando Florida, Utah, and Cuba.
Dr Garwood is the founder and Medical Director of Perfect Health Medical & Holistic Centre, Le Clinique and the Perfect Blend Line of Herbal Products and has served the medical and scientific community for more than 17 years. Dr Garwood is the author of several original research articles appearing in Peer Review Medical Journals, Health Magazines and News Papers.
